Cheers to the future of Devon!

Project Overview

Elevate Devon is a pivotal corridor study focused on enhancing Devon Avenue between Sheridan Road and Ravenswood Avenue in Chicago. Between January and August of 2022 the community came together to identify and prioritize strategies to enliven the eclectic 1-mile project area, foster sense of place, and help local businesses thrive. During the Fall and Winter of 2022 the project team worked diligently to apply community feedback, connect with local partners and city agencies, and draft the plan. Review and refinements were completed in early January of 2023 and we are excited to share the approved Elevate Devon Corridor Plan with the community. On behalf the Edgewater Chamber of Commerce, Loyola University Chicago, Rogers Park Business Alliance, and design and planning team at Teska Associates — thank you for your support and participation.

The Elevate Devon Corridor Plan will bring a series of strategic improvements including a branding initiative, arts and culture development, business activation, streetscape safety infrastructure, placemaking and landscaping.
